School Events
We love bringing our school community together including the Carnival, Fall Festival and Holiday Parties. These events make our school a warm and welcoming place for everyone.
Fundraising
We team up with local businesses and community partners to help raise money for our school, which means more resources and opportunities for all our students.
Upgrades
We advocate by raising money to help support our school’s needs. Our aim is to help create a better learning environment for all students to thrive through the school year.
Teacher Support
Our teachers are amazing and we want to show them how much we appreciate their hard work. We organize special lunches to say thanks and celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week.

At Newton Collins Elementary PTA, we take pride in the remarkable achievements we’ve accomplished together as a passionate and purpose-driven team.
These accomplishments are a testament to our unwavering commitment to our school community and its bright future. Some of our notable achievements include:
Memorial Garden
In honor of the cherished memory of former teacher Heather Cheuka, we’ve created a beautiful memorial garden on the school grounds.
DVISD Vistation Policy
Parents can walk their children to class on the first day of school and join them for lunch three days a week thanks to the PTA’s efforts.
Room Parents Program
This program, serving pre-K through 3rd grade, fosters a strong partnership between parents, teachers and our students.
Free Breakfast & Lunch
Our PTA helped establish free breakfast and lunch for all DVISD elementary and middle school students ensuring nutritious meals for all students.
After School Programs
We’ve introduced the third after-school enrichment program – iKids. This program offers opportunities for students to learn beyond the classroom.
Community Garden
A new community garden offering students a hands-on experience with nature and the environment. We’ve also partnered with PEAS Education Specialists.
